AUM

To reiterate, only long positions are reported on Form 13F-HR. Short positions are not reported. 
I can't figure out the true total assets under management of Numerai GP LLC.

Numerai has been reported to hold the largest AUM (long position)  since 2022. The hedge fund’s AUM have now exceeded $500 million. The AUM exceeding $500 million is an outlier.

However, this has not been discussed on Numerai’s X account or in the forum.
It may be that, for Numerai’s hedge fund, the size of its AUM is not especially significant now.

Position Size Histogram

It seems that the Numerai team remains committed to constructing a portfolio with diversified holdings and a larger number of smaller positions.


However, compared to the 13F-HR filing as of December 31, 2024, it appears that the number of large positions has increased.



In Conclusion

･Since 2024, Numerai’s AUM has continued to grow. However, the Numerai team may not consider the increase in AUM itself to be particularly important.

ï½¥The Numerai team remains focused on building a diversified portfolio with many small positions.


The growth in large positions has caught my attention, and I look forward to writing more about this in a future blog post.
